Two weeks ago I had the opportunity to sit in on the ground school part of the RAF's STOL Tips SEMINAR and was very impressed by the course.
STOL bush planes are not required as participants flew Bonanzas, 172?s, and yes, bush planes. Everyone learned something new and it was stunning how short some of these non-bush planes could actually land, when using the proper technique.
