My rudder skin on the forward edge seems to be off. I'm talking about the part of the skin in front of the spar that gets rolled. It's match drilled but the right side measures about 5/16s longer forward of the spar then the left side. Seems like if I roll these edges and use the matched drilled holes, the radius on the right side will be different then the left. If the holes on the right side were 5/16's farther away from the leading edge, that would make since but they have the same edge distance as the left side. Am I looking at this wrong?

Been a looong time, but I believe the overlap requires one side to be longer than the other...ie. the longer side will go "over" the shorter one after they are rolled.

A bit vague, but I have no plans, photos with me

Talked to Vans and they said that must be the way it was designed although they didn't seem to sure on that. Right side (longer by 5/16) goes over the left.
Thanks.
