Has anyone done the quickbuild wings and quickbuild fuselage kits separately? I'm looking to see how long it takes to complete the wings (shop hrs. and calendar time) and weather the short term cost savings will be offset by wait time (shipping back the center section, shipping back and forth to the PI) etc. Any experience with this?

I just mailed in my order for a QB wing today. I talked yesterday on the phone to Van's and their only comment was if I was moving along that fast with the empennage, I'll run out of things to do quickly.
They were implying that the fuselage QB takes such a long lead time, but in my case, that's what I'm planning.
Another factor is the time/value/cost (availablily?) of money (g).
