Does anyone know if these gauges are acceleration compensated? The reading might be off depending on acceleration.

The display mechanism which is actuated by the gyro is well balanced so the acceleration forces should cancel out. There is not a step in the calibration procedure to accomidate acceleration or deacceleration. If the AI is properly calibrated it should not respond to forces other than attitude changes.

Isn't recognizing false pitch change due to acceleration/deceleration part of IFR training?

(3) Hold altitude during power changes - show that the bar moves down on acceleration and moves up on deceleration.

I am sure those electronic ones can compensate this false attitude change, but what about the vacuum ones?
