Today I worked on the rudder. On Page 07-03 Step 1 it says to temporarily attach the rudder spar to the vertical stabilizer to check the fit. What it doesn't tell you is what hardware to use to fasten the lower hinge assembly to the VS spar while you check the fit. There doesn't seem to be any hardware in the kit that will work. Am I correct in assuming that I should just use some common hardware store bolts to make the temporary mounting? Or try to find some AN nuts and use the AN3-5A bolts that will ultimately be used? That's the only thing I can think of.
