Check your fuel tank access plates for the proper nutplate sizes!!
The other day when I was attaching my fuel level senders, I was wondering why one of the #8 screws wasn't tightening properly. Here they installed a #10 nutplate in one location! Had to quickly pull the screw out, drill out the top part of the hole to #10 size and then put a bolt in there! You can see it in this pic (top right).
