I am getting close to finishing the rudder of my RV7A. I just ordered the QB fuselage and wings the other day and have a question about the finishing kit...How long till you think I would need the finishing kit after the QB wings and fuselage kits arrive? I figure I work about 10 hrs a week on the airplane. The reason I am asking...I'm considering ordering the finishing kit with the QB kits to save some $$ on shipping if I use Tony Partain for the wing and fuselage delivery. Clear as Mud??:eek:

Chad - I asked this same questions a year or so ago.... now I can answer it.

I recieved my QB wings and fuselage in August of 2009 and recieved my Finish kit in April of 2010. I probably work 10-15 hours /week on average.

With 10 hours or so a week, I'd estimate that you'd want the finish kit 6-9 months after QB arrives...

Please keep in mind that finish kit does have some pretty bulky items to store if you are not ready for them.
