Of those doing QB kits, how many buy everything at once ?

Is there any advantage or disadvantage to ordering the segments as needed. I guess my first concern would be compatibility between kit parts bought years apart.

Thanks

QB purchases

After building the empanage,
I bought everything at once.

Reasons being:
1) I could.
2) I have the room.
3) One charge out for freight.
4) Co-ordinating the build sequence (not having to wait for parts to carry
on the build)
5) It's much more impressive...what with airplane parts everywhere:D

I think Van is carefull about supplying the same parts even if a builder is building over a period of several years. (Well, at least I would assume that)

I got the tail kit and ordered the QB fuse and wings at the same time. No particular reason for doing it that way.

I got everthing at once in order to beat the yearly (?) increases and because Van's had a discount on complete in-stock 8A kits back at the end of 05. It also turned out to be cheaper to transport everything in one shot (I picked up my kit at Vans).
