Okay, I'm officially stumped! Who has built a QB-7 and has figured out how to get the spring mount in between the last two bulkheads, and get the last bulkhead riveted into place? Can it be done with bucked rivets?
I've spent more time messing with this than it would have taken me to do a slow-build!

All but four

Yes, it can be done with bucked rivets, except for the two on either side of the tailwheel spring. For those, on the inner bulkhead (this is the one that has two back-to-back bulkheads), I used pulled rivets. The tailwheel tube gets in the way of any bucking bar I have in those four cases -- only those four.

This wasn't fun, but just stick with it. If your hands are too big, get a helper with smaller hands.

(You know what they say about guys with big hands...they use a lot of pulled rivets!)

Email me offline if you need more detailed help...I'll walk you through it on the phone if you like.

Cheers,
Martin
