I am blind riveting an angle 1/16" on to a panel 1/16" (~.125 total). This is a non-structural bracket for an engine monitor. This is right at the grip length gap for a pulled rivet. Do you generally step up or step down the rivet.

BSP-42 .063-.125
BSP-43 .126-.187

With the numbers you mentioned, I'd go with the -43. This is because the 1/16" aluminum is nominally .063, for a total of .126. You could measure the thicknesses and use the actuals here for a more refined choice. But for a non-structural sensor bracket, either should probably do the job.

Thanks Dave. I measured the actual thickness with a mic and I am .124. So will go with the 42s as I have a bunch lying around.
