I see a thread regarding flat rate repairs on a lot of avionics. It caused me to review my recent interaction with PSE. While my thoughts of the company are very positive it leaves me some curiosity. 6 years ago I purchased a 9000EX, it had a problem from day one where after about 30 min of flying with a passenger, usually my wife, the squelch would break on and off driving a person crazy. They had me try this and that and of course it was fine solo and short trips with a passenger. So finally we decided that we had enough and called PSE again and sure enough they had a fix. $200.00 plus shipping and we can fix it and we will update the Bluetooth so it will work with your Iphone. We just returned from a 50 hr trip and it worked flawlessly. They could have done this while it was under warranty but??? and we would have enjoyed the intercom as we should have for 6 years. Not a put down, just an experience. Larry
