I was thinking it might be a good idea to use some proseal to set my snap bushings in place so they won't pop out. Is there any reason I should avoid doing this?

Its hard enough to get the things flying as it is!

The barbs on the bushings work well. If you must a dab of RTV might add some "belt and suspenders" security.

(I'm more worried about the rudder cables sawing through the bushings!)
