Starting my tank sealing saturday. Is it necessary to coat the rivets for the stringers that i backrivet?

Everything got proseal on mine.

Then before closing up the tanks, I thinned some proseal with toluene and brushed all shop heads/joints. I did not want to take any chances with leaks. Pres tested to 1 psi.

Dab some proseal in every rivet hole before riveting with a toothpick, and then encapsulate every shop head on the inside. Be sure to scuff and clean all of the surfaces with MEK before you start spreading sealant around. Soak the rivets in MEK and dry them on a paper towel. You want good adhesion and no residues (fingerprints, etc) on any part.
