i have an application for proseal that will require several applications. is there a maximum time between coats recommended?

Hormaly takes 72 hrs,take a plastic baggy and rub on a prosealed area if proseal doesn't stick to baggy it's safe to put fuel in
 
sorry didn't read post correctly the tech people that sell proseal are helpfull you can call them if in doubt

The applicable Mil-Spec states that the sealant is suitable for repairing itself.

This would say that there is no maximum time.

until i find another tank for a 1975 yamaha dt 175 proseal will save the day.
 
Just be careful to never put any ethanol gas in that repaired tank. It will likely soften the proseal. Only zero-ethanol gas. Only a few stations around that promise that.

Funny - I have a DT 2 and 3 that is a 250 and 360 from 1973. Corrosion and rust contamination of fuel path got me. Sloshed one. (shame on me).

Parts are very hard to acquire. It was bad 15 yrs ago, have not tried lately.
