I'm planning on ordering an IO-390 engine soon for my RV14, and am trying to decide on which prop to order. Because it's a taildragger Vans recommend a 72" diameter. I want to install 2x PMags ... am I correct in thinking there are lots of RV14's flying with the 72" Hartzell 2 Blade Blended Aerofoil Aluminium Prop and 2 PMags? Is anyone flying with the MT 3 Blade (would be the MTV9 72" diameter) and 2 PMags? Would be grateful to hear anyone's comments about flying with these combinations.
