i am planning on using a 3 blade black mac from mccauley on my RV-8. does anyone out there in the VAF used a three blade McCauley Black Mac prop on their plane? If so how did the W+B work out and would you do it again? and how does your performance compare to the posted vans numbers? i am going to be using the io-375 from aerosport power.

Check which McCauley props are compatible with your exact engine. For example, there are not any McCauley props that are vibration tested on O-360-A1A. Same is true for any O-360 non-counterweight engines. (Yep, I know, they aren't really counterweights, they are vibration dampers. Or dampeners.)
