Running an O-360 with Sensenich wood 71" diam FP pitch of 83". I can exceed redline RPM of 2700 up to 10,000 ft MSL at WOT. I'm under-pitched right? Was thinking 85" would bring RPM back 100RPM and allow WOT at lower altitudes. I wasn't able to continue the climb above 10K due to weather but will see how high I have to go to not over redline next time I fly.

The VAN's recommends this fix pitch prop for your engine:
Sensenich O-360, 4" spacer, 1/2" bolt, 85" pitch
Part Number = PROP 72FM8S16-1 (85)

My prop was a 86 inch pitch (IO 360 WD with 10:1 pistons) and would still overspeed at WOT with my RV 6. Would recommend to start with the 85 and repitch after you get thru flight test to your personal taste if necessary. Obviously, there will be a compromise between climb and cruise. Adjust based on your mission. Hope this helps fly safe...

PS Now have CS prop.
