I have a Mattituck TMXO-360M1B I purchased from another builder. 0 time. Had been mounted on an incomplete RV-7. When I got the engine, it had a fire-sleeved prop hose from the front of the crankcase to the prop governor. It has some sharp bends, and every picture I see of other installations seem to have a hard steel line here. Is it common/appropriate to have a flex line in this position. If so, any pictures on hose routing. Thanks.

Yes, you can use either the SS tube or a fire sleeved flex hose. Info on this [with drawings of both] can be found in Lycoming's SI 1435, which can be downloaded below.

With either method, it is critical to have the pipe or hose properly supported with Adel clamps.
