I picked up a less than quarter inch nick in my prop guard material and was wondering what, if any, process should be used to repair the nick. Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

Prop guard repair

Who's propeller are you using?

On an MT Propeller, the root leading edge prop guard can be removed, inspect and seal any leading edge surface damage and install a new prop guard.

I don't know what to do on another manufacturers CS propeller.

I guess I was not clear in my question. My prop is fine it is just the Prop Guard that got damaged. I was wondering if there was some type of repair that could be done to the quarter inch diameter rip in the pg.

The procedure for repair is outlined in the Prop Guard instructions. It involves carefully removing the damage and replacing with new. Eezy Peezy. There is a limit, though, on how long the patch can be.
