I took advantage of the Van's engine/propeller special, ordering on April 29. Today, my Sensenick propeller arrived! I won't be needing it for a long while but, hey, I saved a $1,000. Well, actually, not that much, since I had thought I would get a less expensive Catto prop, but I am happy. I have no idea when the engine will arrive, but it will be exciting. I ended up with the experimental IO-320. I guess a lot of people participated in the program, with Van's telling me Lycoming was very happy with the sales. I hope it will spark some more price competition.
