I'm installing my exhaust and discovered that the clearance between the pipe and throttle control cable are way close (about a half inch apart). There is a heat baffle that fits on the pipe but when held in position there is no clearance at all. In fact I can't really get the baffle into position. I'm wondering if it's possible to re-bend the exhaust just a bit (1 or 2 degrees) perhaps making the pipes a bit closer in the area shown in the second picture.
