On the weekend I'm goign to be adding fuel, doing a fuel-flow test and first engine run. After I pour some gas in the tanks, I read or heard somewhere that I can force fuel into the rest of the system before turning on the fuel pump by blowing through a tube connected to the fuel vent line. I wonder about whether the moisture this could introduce to the system would be bad. Is this necessary, or can I just pour fuel in the tanks and flip on the fuel pump to start pushing fuel through the system?

Just get it flowing with the fuel pump - if that doesn't work, you'll definitely have a problem you'll want to solve before flying! ;)
