Hi ... very soon will be converting from MS A-4-5 Carb to Precision airmotive Silverhawke fuel injection on O-360 A1A ...... Looks like a 1" spacer on airbox end will keep cowl alignment about the same and aid in mixture control lever arm / airbox interference. Anyone done this conversion with some advise . ?? Thanks. Stew

do a search of this site using advanced google search, you will find a number of threads on the Silverhawk install. Note that when buying the Silverhawk, you can specify a reversed mixture lever (lever pointing up), and Silverhawk supply various control arms.

If you have not yet purchased the Precision system, consider AirFlow Performance. It is a bolt on replacement for a carb when doing vertical injection.

I did this on my O-360-A1A back when that was the only Van?s parallel valve option.

If you already have the Precision system in hand, give Don at AirFlow a call anyway. He can help you on how to install it.
