Good morning,

I have found a great looking RV-9A in the Greenville, Tennessee area. If anyone has a recommendation for an experienced builder and/or A & P in the area that could assist with a pre-buy inspection it would be most appreciated.

My wife and I are both pilots and this is our first venture into the world of RV aircraft.

Thanks Don. Pilots are a special breed but I have
never met pilots before like the RV pilots. Its an amazing group.
The closest thing I have experienced is the Grumman pilot group. Kathy and I sold our Grumman Tiger a few months ago and have serious plane withdrawal. We either have to both go into rehab or get another plane.

Pre-Buy Inspection

Contact Brian Chesteen aka Brantel on the Forums. He built a gorgeous RV-7 and lives in Newport TN which is 30 miles from Greeneville, TN.

Do you know the owner and where it is located exactly?

I don't recommend any of the local DARs for a pre-buy as the ones that are familiar with RV's seem to be more paperwork inspectors than airplanes!

We have many guys local to Greeneville that can help you out.

The only RV9A around this area that I know that is for sale is Greg Marlow's plane.
