Since nobody answered, I'll give it a try. There is no change to the height with SB07-11-9. It changes the clearance between the end nut and the ground only.
As noted before, the ground clearance doesn't change, only the distance between the Nose Gear nut and the ground. I have completed the SB and there was no change in ground clearance.
My nose gear leg arrived back from machining and appears to be about an inch shorter (on the threaded end) than it was when I traced the original on the shipping backer board. I don't yet have the remaining parts, so I'll take your word on it. Thanks for the feedback.
