I am getting ready to install the ammeter shunt (Van's 40 amp) and would like to confirm the proper position. I can not find a drawing containing both the shunt and an ANL from B & C. My plan is to install the shunt between the ANL and the starter contactor on the same stud on the contactor that the master relay connects to, with a wire to the main bus coming off the shunt side of the ANL. So, in order, it would go: Alternator-ANL-Shunt-Starter contactor-Master relay-Battery. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

I had the same question...

I did mine a little differently Shunt-ANL-Starter Contactor. I'm away's from hanging the engine, but plan to connect the Alternator B lead to the Shunt and connect the Main Bus to the ANL-Starter lug. Probably, not a big deal the order of the Shunt and ANL. I
