With all the talk going on with regard to ELT's it occurred to me, in my POH never once did I include the following line:
ELT - ON
You might wish to update your POH's to include this before setting your transponder to 7700 for in cruise engine failures and ditching procedures. (Yes, my POH has a section on ditching.)
