Help with Pneumatic Squeezer

Having some trouble with a brand new squeezer. Had to take it half way apart  don't ask. There is a pin on the side that has an offset shank. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to set this back into the hole. See these two pictures for detail. Anyone else have experience here?

Not sure what happened

Well I removed everything from the body of the squeezer and reassembled it. Somehow the offset pin was able to align. Not really sure what happened.

Oh, I did change the links to the above pictures, hopefully you can see them.
