I just finished the conversiont from mags to dual P-Mags in my RV-8 (still in phase 1).

I wanted to give a public shout out to the stellar support I received from Brad Dement at E-Mag. My first flight had some RPM variations at takeoff power. Brad called me, talked through troubleshooting procedures and overnighted some parts 'just in case'.

I ended up replacing the plugs as a precaution and one ignition wire.

The test flight yesterday was perfecet and I am loving the noticable difference in how the engine runs.

The plane starts great - idles and runs VERY smoothly and fuel flow numbers LOP are shocking!

Same on. Brad was superb in explain to me the better way to fine tunning both PMAGs. 2000 ft, ias 147 kt, 32 l/h lop. I'm pretty happy. JC - Jo?o Pessoa - Brasil
