I know that you can't install mags prior to hanging the engine because they won't fit through the engine mount. Anyone know if PMAGS will fit through the engine mount if you install them prior to hanging the engine? The engine is going on an RV-8.

I mounted the engine to the engine mount (solo) with Pmags already installed and standby alternator already on the vacuum pad too. I guess I didn't know any better.:rolleyes:

While you can do hang the engine with the P-mags installed (I did), they are so easy to install, you can remove them, if it makes you feel better.

Either way, you are going to want to retime them before the first engine start.
