Can anyone who is building the -8 wings or have recently built them have a look at their diagrams for me please and let me know if there is a DWG 11A? I just opened up the plans tonight and it looks like it's missing according to the instructions?

The manual shows referes to a DWG 11, glad I'm not missing anything then.

Plan updates

Don, you may also find the manual refers to Dwg 14a, however, my drawings were 14b. I checked with Van's and the 14b does supercedes 14a. Have fun with the wing kit!

I'm at the same stage.....

I emailed Van's about that. This is their response to the missing DWG 11A...

"When we re-designed the RV-8 fuselage three or so years ago, the center section bulkhead moved from the wing kit to the fuselage kit. In these kits, DWGs 64 and 80 give the information formerly on DWG 11."

"The preview plans from 06 pre-date the re-designed kit, so use them with caution."

Unfortunately DWG 64 and 80 are not in the wing kit. So I guess it wasn't that important for the wing build.
