To connect the flexible pitot line to the metal pitot tube we're supposed to cut 1 inch of .062x3/8 tubing with a long alpha-numeric string behind that. I don't appear to have any tubing with that alpha-numeric designator and there's none on the packing list. I do have 30" of .062x3/8 "Hi temp" tubing that will fit. It's clear-- well, kind of milky-- is that what we're supposed to use?

Thanks

fuel hose

Wayne,
That tubing reminds me of automotive rubber fuel hose. I measured the ID at 11/32" (could be 3/8" nominal). If you can not find it, perhaps you can buy some at the auto parts store.

Wayne,

Check on 49-06 the .062x3/8 interconnect is the same tube used for the oil tank vent & it is kind of milky.

Oops

Wayne,
Oops, I made a mistake. Disregard my previous posting today about the rubber fuel hose. I was thinking of another place it was used on the plane.
