During CI, I removed negative ground lead, disconnected VR terminal block, put dielectric grease on terminal and plugged it back in. Unexpectedly the PFD came on. I then reconnected ground lead and switched on the master so I could then turn it back off to shut down the PFD.
The question is, why did the PFD come on just by reconnecting the VR terminal block? Does it go automatically to the back-up battery?
