Just got back from Performance Engines (La Verne, CA). I took 4 brand new Titan 360 cylinders for Ron to install his 10:1 pistons and make sure everything was perfect. The shop was hospital clean and organized. Ron did all the work while I waited and watched. Ron spent his own time telling me all the tricks for break in & leaning. The cost was surprisingly low.
Performance Engines has a long reputation for their racing engines and experimental engines. He's a good guy with 35 years in business.
If anyone that's had enough of places like Lx-Cxn or others... give Performance a try.

Performance Engines - troubled history

Actually, Ron and Performance Engines has a very storied and troubled history. I personally had very troubling experience with them and when I went public with it I was contacted by many, many others who had experienced the same or were in the process of experiencing the same. I would be very careful with them.
