B brad walton Well Known Member May 17, 2016 #2 I did the same but used split vinyl tube. Not sure its a problem, but it sure looked like there was a potential for chafing

P paul330 Well Known Member May 17, 2016 #3 Use a piece of UHMW block and rivet it so it sits slightly proud of the lower edge. Or some centipede grommet.
