Andair fixed me up with fuel selector valve, filter and boost pump. Vans sold me a different center cover for the filter and boost pump. My quandry is how to modify that cover to easily slip the elevator trim cable through so as to allow easy access to the fuel pump and filter? Perhaps some sort of rubber boot. What have others done? TIA

Cable is routed under the fuel pump/filter assembly...

Bent a small hump and added some padding so the cable wouldn't chaf on the pump/filter base plate...

Cable exits the "dog house" at the front. I added a small piece of angle to zip tie/anchor the cable to...

In this shot you can see how the cable exits the front of the dog house and loops back...

The dog house can be removed easily without messing with the cable.
