Hi

I'm contemplating a couple of runs of conduit in the fuz (7A) to get wires to the rear. I've seen other builders use conduit and cutting a hole in the upper part of the rear spar. I emailed Vans to see if they had a view on this and the response was "the short answer is that we've never investigated it or done any engineering on such an installation. We know builders do all sorts of holes, but we just don't have any data on what's too much".

I wonder what alternatives others have come up with? Do I limit my cables to the rear and only use the holes that pre-exist? I will need elevator trim, Dynon ADHARS, flap motor and sensor for starters.

thanks

David

Hi
I will need elevator trim, Dynon ADHARS, flap motor and sensor for starters.

I have the equivalent of that plus nav light, strobe, pitch servo, magnetometer and two RG400 feedlines. The two holes with snap bushings in the center trough from front spar to bag bulkhead are enough.
