I have barrowed Dave Parsons design for my Matco parking brake and it looks like it will work great. One question, what are people using to connect the T-handle to the parking brake?

I used a push/pull system similar to what Van's sells. I then built a bracket to limit the throw on the parking brake lever. Since the push/pull mechanisms are pretty weak in the pushing mode, I added a spring and a micro switch which pulls the brake in the off position with a brake indicator light telling me whenever it is not in the fully off position. So far it has worked great.

A gentle reminder about parking brakes. Remember when the parking brake is applied, you are holding constant pressure on the hydraulic system. Once you have parked and chocked the plane, it's a good idea to release the parking brake.
