Installing brake pedal lines and first time working with the Nylon tubing inserts. For the brass inserts on the high pressure lines running between the four brake pedals, I heated the .065 wall tubing and pressed in the brass inserts. The question is on the nylon low pressure fittings between the reservoir and the 1st set of master brake cylinders. These nylon inserts go into the thin wall .035 Parker tubing really easy with almost no force. Is that right? Maybe they are there to simply prevent tube collapse but its really easy to slip those inserts in.

force required on mine

to put the inserts in mine I had to lube the insert and press hard with insert against a flat surface.
