What the PAP says:
- With the flap handle in the retracted position hold the left flaperon trailing edge aligned with the wing tip trailing edge
- Verify that when 10 to 15 lb upward load is applied to the trailing edge of the right flaperon, there is no more than 1/2 inch upward movement at the trailing edge

What I found: 3/4 inch movement

I have no clue on what to do...

How did you restrain the left aileron. If you used a spring type clamp there is some "give" that may account for the extra 1/4".

I can check mine this weekend, but if the linkage is solid I wouldn't worry about it.

I agree, Rich, this is my line of thinking too. I suspect that builders did not take this requirement seriously. As an example I asked a friend builder what he had written in his PAP and he answered 1/2 inch, adding "this makes me suspicious about my measurement!". It would be nice to hear about more builders but if many did what my friend did, I am afraid they are not going to brag about it. May be my mistake to have raised the issue!
