I just started my RV12, finished the vertical stabilizer and working on the rudder. Has anyone painted the completed pieces this early on or is there a reason to keep it unpainted until the flight testing is done?

Painting

Unless you build it in a short period of time the paint probably won 't match if you paint the different subkits at different times. You will assemble and take apart the plane many times before the first flight and would probably scratch the paint. I m glad we waited, it is in the paint shop now.
