I went a bit overboard in priming my -9. Then the light went off over my head. Parts that can be easily replaced and were not visible were not primed or painted. Things like the wheel fairing brackets and everything FWF were not painted. The FWF stuff was not painted just incase I have a fire, my thought was I would have fewer fumes to deal with.
As for the front fork, I'm yet to see one that is painted.
