On page 31-06, step one is insert snap bushings into F1204B and F1204C. There is a factory punched hole in F1204C, but no hole in F1204B. Did I miss a "drill #12 hole" step or a revision somewhere?
I ran into this a couple of weeks ago and called Van's and Joe answered, he indicated he had not heard this one yet. He indicated to drill it, so I drilled the hole with a long bit. It is kind of tough to do because the bit is at an angle. Had to make a start with a heavy punch mark.
The hole needed to drill is in the center of the picture:
Thanks, that's the problem, alright. I'll call Van's on Monday so they can log the problem. We've got one of those angle drill attachments that works in close quarters, hopefully we've got a #12 that fits it.
