When riveting the A-1207 actuator bracket to the A-1203 flaperon spar, depending on how you orient the rivet, either the shop head or the manufactured head will contact the curvature in the bracket (see pic). I don't want to machine a flat surface in the bracket because that would weaken it. I'm at a loss. Any advice will be appreciated. I read the other posts on this, but I still don't know how to deal with the shop head hitting the curvature.
