I’m switching to P-mags ( chucking my old Lasar electronic ignition) and wondering if the 12 volt rpm output signal on the P-mags is compatible with my old Vision Microsystems epi 800 tach gauge , I’ve done a lot of searching and as far as I can tell it is either 5volt or 10 volt signal ( depending on the VM unit ? ( not sure if that’s correct ). So my question is can I just hook the p-mag rpm out to my VM tach input ? The pulse on both is set the same.

Thanks . That’s helpful . It looks like the E mag signal will have to be lowered to 5 volts .
