So, Im thinking about the assembly and riveting of the outboard leading edge got me thinking. Is there any reason I cant back rivet the j-stiffener to the top skins firsts, then slide each rib in to its position prior to riveting them next? What can I say, I like back riveting and will do it when possible

OB LE construction ?

I considered that approach in a few locations. The reason I did not - is the one rivet in each rib that sits somewhat under the stringer J channel. That rivet is somewhat hidden and difficult (not impossible) to set and inspect.

Working on the same LE section now..

Good point. Oh well I guess Ill stop trying to outsmart the plans
