Wow, I just checked the FAA accident database for 7/28 and of the three reports, there were two nose gear failures, both at Oshkosh...and they were NOT RV's! :D

I''m not happy that anyone had an accident, but I'm glad they weren't RV's.

It is important to know what happened. If these incidents were due to poor ground conditions, RV nose draggers will be at risk taxiing (though about 100 nosedraggers are there now and obviously made it OK). If anyone has additional info on this, please chime in.

It's good to hear the two pilots didn't get hurt. Once I flew with out a nosedragger or a taildragger! A J3 on floats!
