Looks like you were a year ahead of me at OSH 92. I first attended in 93 (only 2 days…..what was I thinking
), and bought the plans and tail kit in 94…..after the famous $50 thousand dollar ride (remember, that was 94 prices, no glass panels, probably a mid-time engine with a wood prop). 20 years later I flew my new 6A to OSH 14. Yea, it took waaaayyyy longer to build than I guessed it would with work, life, etc., often taking priority. But, 1300+ hours, including 8 OSH trips later (just back from OSH 24), it’s still my favorite ride!
Keep at it. It’s most definitely worth it!
