I'm getting set to order the Dynon D-60 and D-120 for my RV-8. I'm wondering what else has to be ordered with these units to complete the installation.
I'm assuming that the engine probes, wiring harnesses etc are not included and have to be ordered separately. Are the mounting brackets included?

If anyone can provide a complete list of the required bits and pieces before I place my order, that would be outstanding :)

Thanks,

Take a look at the ordering tools on their website webstore. It will walk you through the process.

Also keep in mind that the D60 cannot be networked together with the D120 and they will not share data.

As Brantel said, the D60 can't network with the D120, nor can it be an HSI or an autopilot. Make sure you're OK with that.

I'd suggest you give us a call at Dynon today, and we can take you through everything, even if you don't buy direct from us. We have a few dedicated sales people that can get you the list of exactly what you want/need.

You should grab a copy of our order form as well, it does a good job of telling you what you need and what is included.

I just bought my Skyview system through Craig at Skyview Aviation (one of Dynon's Dealers) in CA. They gave me a great deal on the system!

OK I will come right out and spend your money for you.

Assuming this is a VFR aircraft with no fancy nav equipment, just a Garmin handheld GPS like a G#96 or AERA 500 series.
D100, D120,AP74, 2 of SV42 servo's and the mounting kits. 1 of Engine pack for 4 cyl Lycoming. OAT probe and fuel flow as per BRANTEL's post.

Then if you are installing GNS430W's or the like add a HS34.

D6 or D60 is not what you will need/want.
