I'm looking for what my options are for attaching a fiberglass skirt on my slider. I see folks using Sika. As I didn't use Sika for the windscreen this looks like a new learning curve. I was thinking of roughing up the plexi and laying down a layer of thick West microfiber/resin, placing the skirt, clamping and clecoing at the aluminum horiz. skirts. Has anyone used this approach or perhaps a different approach?

I used SIKA (I also glued my canopy). I am not too happy with the resulting thickness of the skirt with the sika. If I were to do it again, I would look into using epoxy.

Proseal is a dandy adhesive that you may already have some experience with.

It doesn't hurt to put a few holes in the plexi for the epoxy to get into. These then become epoxy rivets and help hold the skirt from coming off. Make sure that you rough up the plexi to help the bonding process.
